Succour Process (2020)

Succour Process is a live simulation made for YouTube Live. It was commissioned by the Sustainable Enterprise London Festival, an online festival that explored how people can come together and be open about the difficulties and potential for life after Covid. Succour Process was inspired by Tennessee Williams’ character Maggie, a determined yet exasperated woman who asks the famous question “What is the victory of a cat on a hot tin roof?”
The piece streamed 24/7 from July 13 through July 31. YouTube Live’s chat features were enabled throughout this period, giving visitors a social space to meet, talk about the live happenings of the simulation, and to become part of the work themselves.
